With the death of Judex and Doctor Shift, Carrick Masterson will need some replacements for the Front Line. And his # 1 pick will be a young man that goes by the name of Joshua Carver, a ruthless and fearless vigilante of New York. Will Joshua's decision be the end of everything he's ever been? What is the ultimate price one will pay to be a superhero?

For now, only Masterson may know the answers...

Notes:

  • The third cover is a homage of the cover of The Amazing Spider-Man #129.
  • The fifth cover is a homage of the cover of Iron Man #1.
